The 200 is Chrysler’s entry-level vehicle into a highly luxurious line of family sedans. It has almost all of the amenities that the 300 has and there is something special about the new 2016 Chrysler 200.
The 200 is really what defines the Chrysler brand. In a car category with so many competitors such as the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion, Mazda 6, and Hyundai Sonata, the Chrysler 200 stands out as something new and different—and better. With the 200, Chrysler manages to blur the lines between family sedan and luxury vehicle by throwing in those perks usually found only in the more elite vehicles. Things like a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry, rain sensing windshield wipers, voice recognition, and advanced break assist are not usually found in an entry–level sedan. But they are all in the 200. And if that’s not enough to wow you, think about this: The 2016 Chrysler 200 is the only car in its class to offer both front or all-wheel-drive. And, when it realizes the all-wheel is not needed, the 200 switches back to front-wheel. On its own.
The exterior is still as sleek as last year’s re-design. Its wave-like curves and long, stretched lines have helped it to become one of the more stylish sedan options out there. But what I like best about the body style is its way of setting an elegant tone, and doing so without being gaudy. This is a sophisticated car.
A few other changes to the Chrysler 200 for the 2016 model include an easier to use and understand Uconnect touch-screen infotainment system—probably the best touch screen device in any sedan—a rear backup camera, a blind spot monitor, and optional V-6 on Limited models.
Sedan drivers cannot go wrong with the Chrysler 200. Test drive one today and see for yourself at Mount Airy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

In Mount Airy, NC, there is nothing better than a Jeep to cruise over our mountains. But which Jeep is right for you? The Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Cherokee are a couple of the most popular SUVs on the road. But what’s the difference?
Jeep has changed things up for the 2015 models. It used to offer the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Liberty, but for 2015 Jeep is offering the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Jeep Cherokee.
There are a few key distinctions that separate these popular SUVs. First off, the new Jeep Cherokee is slightly larger than the Jeep Liberty that it replaced. The Grand Cherokee and Cherokee are more similar in size, but there are still key differences.
What’s different on the Outside?
At first glance these two SUVs share quite a bit of design elements, but right away it is noticeable that the Jeep Cherokee is smaller. One of the main differences are the headlights: the Jeep Cherokee has three stacked together and the Jeep Grand Cherokee has the traditional two. The Grand Cherokee also looks more like an off-road vehicle from the rear with a slightly more upright style.
What’s different on the Inside?
There is more of a difference on the inside with the Jeep Grand Cherokee having more room and top-end cabin materials. The Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee have similar dashboards and switchgear. The Grand Cherokee is more in line with luxury SUVs while the Jeep Cherokee is made for comfort and functionality.
What’s different on the Engine?
The Jeep Cherokee is available in two engines which are both smaller than the Grand Cherokee. The first engine offered is a 184- horsepower 2.4-liter 4 cylinder engine and the second is a 271-horsepower 3.2-liter V6. The first engine boasts 22 mpg city/31 mpg hwy and the second engine gets 21 mpg city/ 29 mpg hwy.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers more power. It has four engine choices. The standard engine is 290-hp 3.6-liter V6 with MPG 17 city/24 hwy. Drivers can also choose the turbodiesel engine at 240-hp 3.0-liter V6 with 21 city/ 28 hwy. For those wanting even more power, the Grand Cherokee is available in a 360-hp 5.7-liter V8 with 14 city/ 22 hwy. The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT used 475-hp 6.4-liter V8 with 13 city/ 19 hwy.
What’s different with Features and Technology?
There is really no difference in features and technology. Anything you could want on the Grand Cherokee is also available for the Cherokee. This means drivers won’t have to pick one vehicle over the other based on features alone.
The Bottom Line
For both the 2015 and 2016 models, the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Cherokee are great choices for drivers looking for an SUV. The Grand Cherokee is larger, more powerful, roomier and more luxurious, and it’s better off-road than the smaller Cherokee. Meanwhile, the Cherokee offers improved fuel efficiency and a more carlike driving experience. Both SUVs tout roughly the same level of standard features, optional features and crashworthiness.
It really comes down to what size you are looking for and how much you want to spend.

2015 Dodge Durango: Where Ruggedness and Sophistication Meet
When Dodge first came out with the Durango, over fifteen years ago, its body-on-frame construction was modeled after the Dakota truck. The Durango was a truck/SUV crossover that won over drivers with its rugged demeanor and semi-sporty shape. Over the years the Dodge Durango made slight alterations to design and construction, but it never lost its toughness. Today’s 2015 Dodge Durango model, however, has managed to combine its hardy physique with a touch of something more refined and sophisticated, creating a furrowed luxury difficult to find anywhere else.
The 2015 Dodge Durango is created from the very same architecture of the Mercedes GL-Class and M-Class, as well as the Jeep Grand Cherokee — this is where high performance meets luxury and comfort, making the new Dodge Durango truly a unique combination, something you have to experience.
Under the hood, the Durango carries either a speedy V-6 engine or a substantial HEMI V-8. Both engines are offered in all-wheel-drive, and both are more than capable to handle heavy tow-loads and easy traction through rough terrain. And, to be sure and not drain the tank, the Durango comes with Fuel Saver Technology— a torque-based system that manages to deactivate cylinders when they are not needed without hindering performance. It is this type of innovative thinking that can be found at every turn in the new Durango, keeping drivers very happy.
Inside the new Dodge Durango feels less like a truck than any of the models previous and more like the cabin of a more luxurious, higher-class vehicle. Surfaces are soft and flow from corner to corner, while the leather upholstery, along with the white trim rings on the dials, sets off a tasteful minimalism in color. And the superior placement and design of the seats and armrests allow for optimum comfort.

2015 Chrysler 200: A Sedan Making All the Right Moves
Right now at Mount Airy Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram you can find the best of the re-engineered version of the Chrysler Sebring, otherwise known as the Chrysler 200.
This 2015 Chrysler 200 model comes with a new look: a small, refined grill and added curvature to keep it in tow with today’s modern mid-sized sedans. The interior matches its exterior in way of innovative ideas and sleek new designs, making this sedan an immediate eye catcher. Chrysler did a nice job at making this model more roomy and comfortable than previous models by extending its length just enough to provide that extra needed leg space. It comes inoptional 4 or 6-cylinder engines and both do quite well—naturally with the 4-cylinder you save on gas but lose in power (although for a smaller engine, the 4 does well). I would, however, recommend the 6-cylinder with this vehicle simply because the Chrysler 200 uses the same drivetrains found in both the Dodge Dart and the Jeep Cherokee and the larger engine does well to keep the drive smooth and punchy. It also comes with optional manual transmission and paddles to make your drive a bit more exciting.
The best feature of the new 2015 Chrysler 200, I would have to say, is its superiority in safety. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named it as its newest Top Safety Pick and here is why: it comes with options for some of the most up-to-date components available, such as knee airbags, stability control, automatic parking assistance, as well as blind-spot monitors. You can also opt for a lane departure warning system, self-governing breaking system and adaptive cruise control to insure complete driver confidence and peace of mind for all road conditions.
The new Chrysler 200 has more than just aesthetic appeal making it highly desirable. What makes this vehicle of true value is its top rated safety features, practical designs allowing for optimum space and the mechanics to keep it on the road for an extended lifespan. Come try one out today. You will not regret it.

The 2014 Chrysler 200 was a success, proving itself a leader in design and performance among today’s midsized sedans. This year Chrysler has refined those things that garnered it such success—things like quick acceleration and good fuel economy. And these changes make the venerable 200 even more desirable than before.
The process of making this good sedan great started with the engine. Last year’s 4-cylinder has been beefed up with 184 hp and 173 lbs of torque. And the V-6 has risen to 295 hp and 262 lbs of torque—making both engines quicker off the line and cheaper at the gas station. An added bonus to the upgraded engine is the new Torque Management System that allows for the car to switch into all-wheel drive on its own. It does this by sensing changes in the surface of the road and adjusting by transferring torque to all the wheels when needed. This works very well with wet or icy roads, keeping you safely moving along.
The thought put into this vehicle is stunning. From the exterior’s sleek curves, to the metal used in the suspension (high-pressure, die-cast aluminum—a lightweight metal that keeps from vibration), every aspect has been critically examined and made to function the best way possible. Just take it for a drive and feel the difference in the 200 compared to other midsized sedans.
It’s fast and it’s fun to drive. And it looks really good. The 2015 Chrysler 200 model has been sculpted to the shape and style of the 1960s Chrysler coupes, putting its own unique spin on a classic look. The front LED daytime running lamps give off a sleek, modern look, while the ergonomic body rolls back with long lines and perfect Porche-like curves leaving you wondering whether you just purchased a luxury sedan or a high-performing sports car.

2015 Chrysler 300: Best Quality Sedan on the Market
This year J.D. Power’s 2015 U.S. Initial Quality Study ranked the 2015 Chrysler 300 highest among large sedans. How did they come to this conclusion? Well, they actually created this ranking from the responses of over 84,000 owners (based from the first 90 days of ownership) of the 2015 Chrysler 300. The 300’s updated look and quality driving performance have paid off, as drivers and critics alike are overwhelmed with the new and improved sedan.
Chrysler fans are not surprised by the high praise for the 300. Its success has been inevitable from its creation—a big, bold luxury sedan that has been engineered to last, and it comes with a surprisingly low price tag. What more could you possibly want in a car? And each year, they keep getting better. For example, consider a few of the 2015 model’s upgrades: it comes as a newly designed eight-speed automatic, offered in either V-6 or V-8 sized engines. The large wheelbase allows for a softer, more comfortable ride. And its smooth angels and smart shape keep it looking substantial, but also allow it to fit nicely in tight spaces.
After driving the new 300, I was impressed with how quiet and smooth the ride is. How much power and pick-up it has. But what stood out the most to me is its interior cabin. The color schemes consist primarily of dark shades— except for the Platinum models, which can come with cream-colored inlays, door panels, and steering wheel. The wood trim and stitched leather dash add much in way of aesthetics and feel, while the soft surfaces allow for easy cleaning and care. Once inside, it’s difficult not to get excited. Everything from the lighting, down to the floor panels have been made to add to the driving/riding experience.
It’s clear that through superior design and performance, the 2015 Chrysler 300 has proven itself as one of America’s best luxury sedans. Check one out today.

2015 Jeep Wrangler Review by Andrae Bergeron
Jeep Wrangler: An American Icon
With an origin reaching as far back as the 2nd World War, Jeep Wranglers have gone from noisy, bulky, boxy machines, to sporty, comfortable, icons on the road. I had a 1998 model that bounced all over the street with oversized tires and a drafty soft top, yet that Jeep is one of the best vehicles I ever owned—and I’m not alone in my adoration to the old war vehicle. The Jeep Wrangler has one of the biggest fan bases of any utility vehicle out there today.
Even though the Wrangler has progressed over the years, it has always kept its authenticity. The new 2015 Jeep Wrangler still allows you to remove the top and doors as well as fold down the windshield. The door hinges are exposed, as they have always been, visibly fastened to steadfast sheet metal. The 2015 Wrangler comes in two body styles: a two-door and four-door unlimited model. They come in either hard or soft tops (or, you can opt for a package that include both, allowing you to change them depending on the seasons), which have been redesigned to keep out noise and drafts.
Jeep enthusiasts stepping into the new Wrangler for the first time will be shocked at the changes made. The dash and panels have been nicely contoured. The seating and lighting are more sophisticated, ergonomic, making it more family friendly, but without loosing an ounce of ruggedness.
The 2015 Jeep Wrangler is more comfortable and more stylish than its predecessors, yet it maintains the tough durability that has been the source of its mass appeal since the beginning. If you are looking for a vehicle that can go anywhere and look good doing it, I recommend buying from Mount Airy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Located in the mountains of North Carolina, they understand the usefulness of this utility vehicle and they stock plenty of the right models. You won’t be sorry … take a trip to Mount Airy today and take one out for a test drive—just don’t get it too dirty.
The 2015 Jeep Patriot has advanced annually, as Jeep has done a wonderful job at adjusting, adding, and upgrading aspects on all scales. This tough crossover comes optional with front-wheel drive or two varying all-wheel drive setups. So if you plan to stay on the straight and narrow you can opt for the front-wheel. But if you prefer to get a little dirty, to create your own road, the all-wheel drive will keep you moving. An added bonus is the 158-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that performs as well as (if not better than) many six-cylinder engines, yet saves you with infrequent stops at the gas station.
Right now at Mount Airy Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram you can finance the new Jeep Patriot for as low as 0.9% APR for up to 36 months. With up to a $500 cash allowance on certain models this is a deal you can’t pass up. So why not come in and see what the 2015 Patriot has to offer?
Another reason to consider the Jeep Patriot is its plush features, both inside and out. In essence, Jeep has borrowed some segments from the body style of the Wrangler and a few fine features from the Compass to morph them into a splendid crossover with attitude. The interior itself is roomy and very useful. Its tough surfaces are sturdy and easy to clean. The rear seatbacks flip forward to create extra storage space for stowage of life’s necessities. It can comfortably carry camping gear, sports equipment, you name it. From inside, it’s hard to believe the Patriot is a compact vehicle. However, from the exterior point of view, it is easily parked in the tightest of spaces and you never feel like you are hogging the road.
The best of the crossovers resides in Mount Airy. Come check one out today.
The 2015 Dodge Dart has some history. Brought forth in the early sixties by strong minds with eagerness to create something cool and long lasting –its name derived by its uniquely sharp features — this car has only been perfected over time and at Mount Airy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram you can find the best colors for the best price.
The 2015 Dart is a performance car with energy saving capabilities that keep you moving in style without depleting your bank account. It comes standard with a 160-horespower, 2.0-liter engine with an optional turbo charge that will knock your socks off. And this very practical vehicle tops the charts when it comes to safety precautions: it earned five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, as well as top marks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety —making the Dart one of the safest cars on the road today. Such accolades come only by paying special attention to every detail, and by considering the passenger first. The Dart comes standard with ten airbags in total, optional blind-spot and cross-traffic alerts, and a high-tech electronic safety system that continually keeps the driver aware.
Compact sedans typically look minimal and unexciting. The Dart, however, aligns itself well with Dodge’s tenacious reputation. It has a wide stance and flowing curves that make it seem elongated and closer to the ground. The minute detail shown in the front grill–skinny, strait lines mixed with beveled edges–adds a bit of attitude usually forgotten in smaller cars. The interior is just as bold with flowing, durable surfaces. It comes with an 8.4-inch display screen for navigation, audio, and climate control.
The 2015 Dodge Dart may look completely different from its original design, but it is still much the same in quality. It’s fast, safe, and a blast to drive. So what are you waiting on? Come test drive one today.
2015 Chrysler 300: Luxury at a Whole New Level

It’s time to shop for a luxury car at Mount Airy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. There are plenty of makes and models and trims and colors to choose from, as well as a very knowledgeable staff willing to go the extra mile to get you any information you need. And one of the hottest sellers right now, the 2015 Chrysler 300, is begging for a test drive.
The new Chrysler 300 comes with either a 6 or 8-cylinder engine. Both provide top performance, gliding smoothly down the road even when pushed hard. This car is quick off the line and maintains a powerful punch even at higher speeds. But more importantly, since this is a luxury sedan, it provides ultimate comfort in ride quality. It never shakes or pulls, as its advanced electric power steering makes sharp turns and long curvy roads a breeze to handle. Chrysler has done a wonderful job at making a rather large vehicle so responsive and light.
If you are still waiting to really be impressed by the 300, step inside. Comfort and roominess were obviously in the forefront of the designer’s mind for this new model. Its soft curvature and natural look will immediately put you at ease as you slide into one of the coziest seats you will find in a luxury sedan.
The 2015 model brings quite a change to the exterior of the Chrysler 300: the front-end has a much larger grill, giving the car more of a stoic presence—yet, the LED fog lights give off a warmth that keeps the vehicle from seeming at all pretentious. The rear is rounded and more concise than previous models—this illuminates some of the exterior bulkiness and allows for a more modern look.
The new Chrysler 300 is my pick for luxury sedan of the year. Come in to Mount Airy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram today and see for yourself.
